“We wanted a sea of lush greenery with sparse white flowers, completing a clean and elegant setting with an uber cool almost like a garden party feel, dimmed lighting and lots of white pillar candles.”
The Proposal
I had always loved Dunsborough; it’s one of my favourite places. I had grown up visiting a particular beach in Dunsborough and Luke knew how much I loved that area and how many amazing memories I had already had there. Luke suggested we have dinner on this beach as the sun set, we had dinner and after we had finished he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
The Theme
I wanted a sea of lush greenery with sparse white flowers, completing a clean and elegant setting with an uber cool almost like a garden party feel, dimmed lighting and lots of white pillar candles.
Favourite Details
The floral installation was amazing! It was the main feature of the room and included all the lovely lush greenery and white flowers. The long tables also had these gorgeous flowers cascading down the middle of each table. These literally made the entire look and vibe.
The Gown
I visited many wedding gown boutiques but just couldn’t find anything that I loved. There were elements of dresses that I loved but no dress was exactly what I wanted. I was after something unique and something that was flattering and made we feel confident. So after a friends recommendations, I met with the beautiful Chloe and Elsa from Meeting Grace. They were amazing and understood exactly what I wanted. Straight away they understood my vision and what was important to me. They consulted me on every step of the way; from sketches to materials to structure. I completely trusted them and they did not disappoint. My dress was everything I had asked for and more, the intricate lace was amazing with the mesh modernism and beige undertone it was everything I wanted. Elsa and Chloe made me part of the entire process, they were regularly in touch with me and made variations and changes whenever they knew I was unsure about something. They were so professional, I would work with them over and over again.
